This study is an attempt to investigate the relationship between working capital management and profitability by making an inter sector comparison of two manufacturing industries i.e. chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry. For this purposewe selected 50 companies from each sector, based on market captilazation and listed on BSE-500 index for period of ten years from 2002-2011.
