The board of directors of a company is the body and soul of the comapny and is thus the fulcrum around which its activities revolve. The re-codified company law has substantially restructured the provisions relating ot appointment of board of directors, reappointment, removal, role and functions. The new act has not prescribed any qualification negatively.
