Summary, etc. This paper explores the relationship between HR practices and service delivery in haelthcare based on a qualitative study conducted in an Indian hospoital. The findings reveal that more emphasis is laid on supreme hospitality and patient amenitiesthan the medical treatment. HR specific issues such as standardization of nursing activities, apprasial systems, effective communication channels and compensation structure, are all found to affect the quality of service provided in a hospital.
