Countries are attempting to provide opportunity to poor people to improve their status and help economy also. The paper attempts to analyse performance of microfinance institution in Tunisia. Study evaluates the microcredit on different basis like jobs created, promoters education, sectoral credits, gender basis etc.. Study shows that the credits are granted to promoters with academic level and even to illiterates.
