The market scenario is changing fast. A rise in household incomes has led to a metamorphosis of rural and smaller markets. There has been a significant increase in middle class families and migration from rural areas to smaller developing town. All this has resulted in the emergence of growing markets and demand in smaller towns across the country. The future of India's dairy industry will have to be built on quantity and quality alone.
